Huge congratulations — 2025 Fernando Valley Futurity Champion

Celebrating Bruno Lascurain (El Mexicano Loft) — 1st place with #655 AU 25 FVCF (400 Miles)

Champion
Bruno Lascurain — El Mexicano Loft
Pigeon #655 AU 25 FVCF1st Place at 400 Miles

With pigeon #655 AU 25 FVCF taking 1st place at 400 Miles, Bruno’s dedication, hard work, and vision have paid off in a big way. Bruno’s passion for pigeons goes back to childhood — a fantail pigeon placed next to his bed by his mother nurtured a lifelong love that would eventually lead to championship success.

Bruno began competing in the USA in 1996 (Devonshire Pigeon Club) and later joined the Fernando Valley Pigeon Club in 2000. He is a strong believer in the positive impact of electronics on pigeon racing — from Benzing Live to modern electronic clocks — calling the technology "live, transparent, and the future of the sport."

“I want to be the best, and I want to do it with my bloodline, with my birds. I want to breed, I want to win, and I want to build something that lasts.” — Bruno Lascurain

His commitment to genetics and disciplined breeding is focused on creating a lasting legacy: the El Mexicano bloodline. Bruno feels deep joy when his birds excel in other lofts and countries — hearing that one of his birds has won elsewhere “fills my soul with peace.”

Community & club vision

Bruno wants to bring the Fernando Valley Club back to the high-energy competition of the 1990s — more races, higher prize money, and fierce fields that push everyone to be better. He thanks David Stephenson for supporting the Futurity and encourages the community to aim high and build a lasting legacy.

Looking ahead

“Let's get ready for the 2026 Fernando Valley Futurity!”

Thank you

Special thanks to David Stephenson and everyone who keeps the Futurity thriving.
